Student's corner
So you've heard about Doctors of the World UK, our UK project Project:London, and you've become a HEALTHlink member...
HEALTHlink is for all students around the UK, medical and non-medical, who believe that health IS a HUMAN RIGHT and who want to improve access to healthcare for all, especially those who lie forgotten in the shadows.
We recognise that students are keen to assist us in our work and even though you are not yet qualified to volunteer on our projects abroad, there is much to be done here too, in the UK.
We want to work alongside you in organising events and campaigns in your University or through the creation of your student branch because we strongly believe that working together is an invaluable tool in promoting and improving access to healthcare for vulnerable populations here in the UK.
What can you do?
As students, your three key areas of involvement are Advocating, Fundraising and Volunteering.
OR, why not create a "Doctors of the World UK Society" in your College or University?
